Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko had a telephone conversation with Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The heads of state exchanged New Year greetings, discussed the most pressing issues in the development of bilateral relations, and the situation with the pandemic.
Aleksandr Lukashenko and Emomali Rahmon agreed to work out a schedule of possible meetings for the near future.
Development of the Belarusian-Turkish parliamentary cooperation was discussed in Ankara on 28 December, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Turkey.
"Belarusian Ambassador to Turkey Viktor Rybak met with Selman Eser, a member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, the head of the parliamentary friendship group with the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus," the embassy said.
