MINSK, 19 September – Over 244,000 foreigners have visited Belarus as part of the visa-free travel program, learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.
According to the committee, as many as 156,563 Lithuania citizens, 61,448 citizens and 18,768 non-citizens of Latvia have come to Belarus since 15 April using the visa waiver. Apart from that, about 7,582 citizens of Poland have used their right to enter Belarus without visas since 1 July.

MINSK, 16 September – Almost 53,000 Ukrainian nationals have arrived in Belarus since 24 February, learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.
“From 6.00 on 24 February to 6.00 on 16 September, Belarus admitted 52,931 citizens of Ukraine. 15,876 people arrived in Belarus directly from the territory of Ukraine. 30,235 citizens of Ukraine came to Belarus via Poland, 5,796 – via Lithuania and 1,024 – via Latvia,” the committee informed.
MINSK, 15 September – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has headed to Uzbekistan on a working visit for a summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) on 15-16 September. The Belarus air force one has flown to Uzbekistan from Bolbasovo airport near Orsha, has learned.
The summit will take place in Samarkand.
