It is planned to invest Br2 billion 823 million over the course of five years in the development of the agro-industrial complex of Vitebsk oblast, Chairman of the Committee on Agriculture and Food Sergey Egorov said at a meeting of the oblast executive committee.  According to the head of the Oblast Committee on Agriculture and Food, while increasing the efficiency of farmers, the stake is on the production of products with high added value.

These days, the focus of all authorities and management is the prevention of the spread of coronavirus infection, including the protection of the most vulnerable category - the elderly over 60 years.

Spring sowing in Vitebsk oblast should be organized clearly and efficiently.  This task was set by the Prime Minister of Belarus Sergei Rumas to the chairman of Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee Nikolai Sherstnev while watching the spring field work in Pododeltsy OJSC, Miory region.  Sergey Rumas stated that the sowing time is always difficult for farmers. “However, all fields are sown. According to the head of the regional health department, two hospitals in Vitebsk are prepared to help patients with acute respiratory infections and pneumonia.
