Ecologists of the oblast center are installing bird feeders on the territory of kindergartens. According to the head of Vitebsk City Inspection of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Sergei Lazuko, the action is aimed not only at helping birds in winter.

Currently, PCR tests for coronavirus infection are being carried out in the region by 6 laboratories, 4 of them are in Vitebsk, 1 in Polotsk and 1 in Novopolotsk. Additionally, two more are being created - on the basis of Orsha Zonal Center of Hygiene and Epidemiology and Vitebsk Central City Polyclinic.
