Lukashenko comments on situation with checkpoints on border with Poland

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko commented on the situation with checkpoints on the border with Poland as his visited the Minsk City Technopark on 16 January, BelTA has learned.

“They can close all of them, for all I care. We don't go there, we don't sell anything there. Does MotoVeloZavod sell its products there? No, it doesn’t. They imposed sanctions against us. Ok. Then we do not have to fight against the migration and the people who want to live there and who go there. I have already said it a thousand times: with a noose around my neck, I will not defend them. They have imposed sanctions against my people, and expect me to defend them? This will not happen,” Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasized.
