The harvest season 2018 in Belarus is coming to an end, BelTA learnt from the Agriculture and Food Ministry. As of 23 August, Belarus harvested 1.94 million hectares planted to cereal and leguminous crops, which is 96.4% of the sown area. The country harvested more than 5.12 million tonnes of grain already, with the average yield of 26.4 centners per hectare.
