At the end of 2024, the Vitebsk Property Management Committee more than doubled budget revenues from the sale of state property at auctions. Although the number of objects sold could not surpass the record of 2023, there is an increase in the pace of work with property: in total, more than 1.1 thousand auctions were scheduled last year, which is almost 4.2 percent more than a year earlier.
According to the committee, the total amount of budget revenues from the sale of unused real estate at auctions amounted to almost 7 million rubles. Potential buyers were offered 387 objects, of which every third changed ownership as a result. A total of 127 buildings and structures were sold.
The most significant transactions with state property in terms of price were made in Vitebsk.
The most expensive object among those sold at the auction of "Vitebskoblimushchestvo" was the former building of the Oktyabrsky District Department of Internal Affairs on Suvorov Street with the status of historical and cultural value. It was purchased by an investor from Minsk for almost 3.3 million rubles.
As a result of the sale of unused objects of the former enterprise "Khimplast" on Leningradskaya Street, the budget was replenished by 919 thousand rubles. The owners of the buildings, divided into three lots, were two entrepreneurs from the regional center and a private enterprise from Mogilev.
Another landmark deal is the sale of the site of the former winery on Pokrovskaya Street in the historical part of the city, associated with the name of Marc Chagall. The complex of objects was purchased by an investor from Russia for 462 thousand rubles, the Vitebsk Property Committee added.
