The weather is for potatoes. Vitebsk scientists suggest planting potatoes at the beginning of April and help to make the pancakes taste better

This opinion is held by Oleg Ravbis, head of the Department of potato growing at Vitebsk Zonal Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. An unusual tasting was recently held on the basis of the latter, in Tulovo, where the main character was potatoes.

Nine varieties and two experimental samples were offered to the guests: representatives of agricultural enterprises, local authorities, the Committee on Agriculture and Food of the regional Executive Committee and just residents of the agro-town. «Lilya» and «Manifest», which received equal votes, were recognized as the most delicious.
