The Polotsk district Prosecutor's Office has defended the property rights of the enterprise for Br2 million

The Polotsk district Prosecutor's Office helped protect the property rights of the enterprise for Br2 million, BelTA was informed by the information service of the Vitebsk Region Prosecutor's Office.

The Prosecutor's office of the Polotsk district, in the interests of JSC Polotsk-Fiberglass, filed a claim with the economic court of the Vitebsk region to recover from a private enterprise from Minsk more than Br2 million, listed as payment for goods under a supply agreement. The Polotsk plant appealed to the district prosecutor's office on the issue of improper fulfillment by the capital's enterprise of its contractual obligations.

During the prosecutor's inspection, it was established that according to the results of the procurement procedure, an agreement for the supply of a component for the production of glass was concluded between the enterprises at their own expense. When using the goods received from the counterparty, its non-compliance with the quality and characteristics requirements set out in the purchase documents was revealed. This prevented the use of the product for its intended purpose. Taking into account the inadmissibility of causing harm in the form of the release of products that do not meet technical requirements, the commission established in the organization forbade the use of low-quality goods.

In the pre-trial proceedings, the defendant did not take measures to replace the substandard component or refund its value, and during the trial did not recognize the claims.

The decision of the Economic Court of the Vitebsk region satisfied the prosecutor's claims in full.
