The Polotsk band "Premier Sponaid" successfully performed at the festival of the Union State in Moscow

The summer for the participants of the Exemplary Dance Theater of the Republic of Belarus "Premier Sponid" (director V.N. Novitskaya) ended with an important and interesting event.

At the end of August, having passed a serious competitive selection, the team took part in the festival of the Union State "Creativity of the Young", which was held in Moscow at the Victory Museum.

The festival "Creativity of the Young" has been held annually since 2005. For a long time it took place in Anapa, but due to covid it was moved to Moscow. The event is aimed at revealing children's talents and serves as an incentive for the development of the creative potential of the young generation of the Union State.

During the week, the children participated in creative laboratories, master classes from the heads of major projects, as well as educational excursions. The main events of the festival were dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders. Polotsk residents had the opportunity to see the unique interactive exhibitions in the Victory Museum, communicate with the leaders of public opinion of the Russian Federation Igor Ugolnikov, actor and director, co-author of the Victory Museum's exposition "Feat of the People", and singer Rodion Gazmanov, and ask questions to Mikhail Mironchik, a member of the Parliamentary Assembly Commission on Culture, Science and Art of the Republic of Belarus. And also - to participate in a dialogue platform with the famous Russian singer SHAMAN and attend his concert on Red Square on the Day of the State Flag of the Russian Federation.

Especially significant for the Belarusian delegation were the patriotic action of the National Historical Project "Faces of Victory" (many members of the dance group decided to perpetuate the names of their ancestors, replenishing the project with photos of relatives and brief information about them), as well as the flower-laying ceremony at the monument to the Victorious Soldier.

Speaking at an event of this level is not only very honorable, but also responsible. After all, you represent a part of the culture of our country, its traditions, and it is important to convey this value to the viewer, to reveal it. Premier Sponaid managed to do it - stormy applause after each performance, shouts of "bravo!", tears in the eyes of the audience and a diploma of the festival laureate confirm this.

In total, the Belarusian delegation consisted of 89 people - these are members of the Exemplary Dance Theater of the Republic of Belarus "Premier Sponaid" (Polotsk), the Exemplary Dance Ensemble of the Republic of Belarus "Alesya" (Mogilev), the Exemplary Pop Song Theater "Syabryna" (Minsk), the exemplary ensemble of accordion players "Kartuzyane" (Bereza), as well as soloists.
