For the first time in Vitebsk, the trade union competition "Spring Duet" was held with the participation of women doctors and their daughters

On the eve of Women's Day, the regional organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Health Care Workers initiated an unusual contest "Spring Duet" for medical mothers and their children.

The trade union event, as noted by the organizers, is aimed at strengthening the spiritual and moral foundations of the family, reviving and promoting family values and traditions, as well as organizing joint creative activities of parents and children.

15 family duets from health care organizations, medical educational institutions of the Vitebsk region took part in the creative competition "Spring Duet".

In the first stage, the little contestants introduced the jury members and the audience to the professions of their mothers, then the duets presented traditional dishes, the recipes of which are passed down from generation to generation in their families.

At the final stage of the "Fashionable in Spring" contest, creative medical mothers made unusual hairstyles for their daughters right on stage. To do this, they have prepared everything necessary for hairdressing masterpieces - varnish, gel, curling irons, elastic bands, hairpins, invisible pins.

Bright contestants at the trade union competition are Irina Nikulina, an obstetrician-gynecologist of the women's consultation No 3 of the regional maternity hospital. She, together with her daughter Anna, a student of Gymnasium No 1 named after Zh. I. Alferov, originally presented a homemade honey cake. It is prepared according to the recipe that has been used by all the housewives of the Vitebsk family for about 50 years.

Anna Pranevich, an employee of the Regional Clinical Center for Psychiatry and Narcology, and her daughter Dasha were supported at the competition by a large team of doctors and trade union activists who work in the physiotherapy room and laboratory of the health care institution. Mother and daughter performed at the creative competition in hand-sewn dresses, they were creative in the presentation of traditional dishes.

Chairman of the Vitebsk regional organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Health Care Workers Vladimir Plytkevich highly appreciated the preparation of family duets, at the award ceremony the chairman of the jury wished all the contestants happiness and joy, success in all endeavors.

The winners of the "Spring Duet" competition were the Shurygin family (ENT Center LLC), the Boronovsky family (Vitebsk Regional Clinical Hospital), the Muzyka family (Braslav Central District Hospital).
