Cooperation with Russian regions. How the Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve is developing

The Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve continues to develop scientific cooperation with Russian colleagues.

Last year, a cooperation agreement was signed with the Central Forest Reserve (Tver Region). Now the partners have been joined by the Rdeisky (Novgorod Region) and Voronezh Reserves.

By the way, the red deer of the Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve are descendants of individuals brought from the Voronezh Nature Conservation Institution in the 1950s and 60s. The Rdeysky bog system is one of the largest and best preserved in Europe, and also has high water and resource conservation significance, supporting populations of a number of rare animal and plant species.
