Budget financing of the overhaul of the housing stock in the Vitebsk region will increase by 28 percent in 2025

The volume of budget expenditures of the Vitebsk region for the overhaul of the housing stock in 2025 will amount to 106.3 million rubles. This is 28 percent higher than the level of 2024, while the increase in funds raised by the population for these purposes is projected at 3.7 percent to 55.8 million rubles.

According to the head of the main financial department of the regional executive committee Yevgeny Korostik, this will make it possible to fulfill the annual task for the overhaul of the housing stock in the amount of 497.2 thousand square meters. The growth rate of this indicator will be 115.1 percent. At the same time, compared to 2022, budget expenditures for the overhaul of housing will more than double.

In addition to the housing stock, in 2025, the expenses of the regional treasury for the overhaul and reconstruction of heating networks and boiler houses of housing and communal services will increase (a total of about 35 million rubles will be allocated for these purposes), as well as water supply and sanitation facilities (9 million rubles).

The total expenditures on housing and communal services and landscaping in the budget of the Vitebsk region for 2025 are planned in the amount of more than 490 million rubles.

111.7 million rubles are provided for subsidizing utilities to the population. Socially vulnerable categories of citizens will be provided with non-cash housing subsidies at the expense of the state.
