Belarus hosted 6,140 European visitors as part of the visa-waiver program over past week, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee.
A total of 1,030,425 European residents have visited Belarus since 15 April 2022. They included 324,746 people from Latvia, 586,382 people from Lithuania, 103,751 people from Poland and 15,546 citizens from the 35 countries which were added to the visa waiver program on 19 July 2024.
The border committee also recalled that the head of state extended the visa-waiver program for citizens of 38 European countries. Foreigners will be able to come to Belarus without a visa until 31 December 2025.
