Rescuers extinguished a fire in a church in Vitebsk

A fire broke out this afternoon in the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Vitebsk. When firefighters arrived at the scene, there was heavy smoke in the building, the Belarusian Emergencies Ministry's Telegram channel reports.

Rescuers quickly extinguished the fire. There were no casualties. Nine units of fire equipment and 26 personnel worked at the fire site.
