A new complete line for milk processing and mozzarella production, which is being installed at the Verkhny Lug unitary enterprise as part of Verkhnedvinsk Creamery OJSC, will allow processing up to 50 tons of milk per day and will almost double the output of the enterprise’s finished products. It is planned to launch in January.
“At one time, we were one of the first to enter the Belarusian market with the production of soft cheeses similar to the Italian “Pasta Filata,” says Pavel Patseluenok, director of the Verkhniy Lug unitary production enterprise. “ We have confidently occupied a certain niche in this segment of cheese production. For example, well-known chain pizzerias use our product. Today we produce about 3.5 tons of finished products per day in an assortment of semi-hard cheeses, cottage cheese, soft and whey cheeses. Modernization will not only satisfy demand in the domestic market, but will also expand export prospects. So far we are sending a small volume to the Russian Federation, mainly soft and pickled cheeses.
Today, the Verkhniy Lug enterprise, part of the Verkhnedvinsk Creamery, employs 43 people. Modernization has made it possible to increase the staff, and new cheesemakers, as the director noted, have already been trained. In the future - modernization of the packaging workshop. As production develops, the number of employees will also be revised.
