The Tolochin region sports infrastructure includes:
- a stadium with racetracks and a stand seating 2000 people;
- 7 gyms;
- a shooting gallery;
- 10 football grounds;
- more than 15 sports grounds.
Annually, on May 8-9, the region hosts an open cycle racing competition for the prize of the Chairman of the Tolochin Regional Executive Committee. The competition is dedicated to the Victory Day.
There are two sports schools in the region: the sports school of the Tolochin Regional Executive Committee for children and youth and the Vitebsk equestrian sports school for children and youth “Niva”. There are two branches of the Vitebsk Sports Biathlon and Cycling Club in the region.
Sportsmen of the region successfully compete in various international and national competitions. Thus, Bronislav Samoilov was 22nd in Giro d’Italy cycling race and claimed the 2007 national champion title in group riding among professionals. Olesya Florianovich holds a juniour champion title of Belarus in discus throwing.
There is Sports-Recuperation Children’s Center “Niva” in the region. The center accommodates up to 80 children.
A training riding-hall and a racetrack which runs 3,000 meters are being constructed now at the Sports Center “Niva”.
