Swiss expert describes Minsk Conference on Eurasian Security as important
The initiative to hold the Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security is very important, head of the Geneva Institute for Multipolarity of Switzerland Guy Mettan said on the air of STV TV channel, BelTA has learned.
The expert opined on whether the Minsk conference could become an alternative to the Munich security conference: "I do not think that there is a competition between the Munich and Minsk conferences. Both can be useful."
Guy Mettan noted that the Minsk conference is a new platform that attracts new participants and countries that do not take part in the Munich conference.
The head of the Geneva Multipolarity Institute is sure that "it is important to give a voice to those countries that were excluded from Munich". In this regard, he considers the Minsk initiative to hold a security conference as very important.
