More than 5 thousand people went on excursions to the Belarusian nuclear power plant in 2023, BelTA was told at the nuclear plant.

“This is 40% more than in the previous year. The Belarusian nuclear power plant continues to arouse great interest among citizens and guests of Belarus,” the station said.

During the year, 228 organized groups attended excursions to the information and training centers of the nuclear power plant. These are representatives of all regions of Belarus, as well as other countries: Russia, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Hungary, etc. The Belarusian NPP was visited by labor veterans, pensioners, teachers and lecturers, students and schoolchildren, people with disabilities, members of patriotic public associations and clubs, energy workers , journalists, deputies, government officials and many others.

“Last year, as in previous years, all requests to visit the information center of the Belarusian NPP were satisfied. And not only from organized groups, but also from individual citizens. In 2024, the information center of the nuclear power plant is still open to the public and is ready to share knowledge about nuclear energy and the Belarusian nuclear power plant with everyone. All excursions are conducted exclusively free of charge upon preliminary application sent to ic@belaes.by," noted at the station.
