Schoolchildren of the Vitebsk region for the first time took part in the international social project "Civic and patriotic camp "Mound of Friendship"

Schoolchildren from educational institutions of the Vitebsk region for the first time took part in the international social project "Civic-patriotic camp "Mound of Friendship".


As part of the regional delegation from the Vitebsk district, 12 young residents of Pridvina visited the foresight session held in Pushkinskiye Gory of the Pskov region on March 14-16. Such an honorary right was awarded to the leaders of patriotic associations, members of search teams and military-patriotic clubs, winners and prize-winners of Olympiads in academic subjects, various competitions, sports and creative competitions from Oktyabrskaya, Novkinskaya, Mazolovskaya, Babinichskaya and Staroselskaya secondary schools. The children visited the State Memorial Historical, Literary and Natural Landscape Museum-Reserve of A. S. Pushkin "Mikhailovskoye", were impressed by the beauty of places associated with the life and work of the great poet.

For most of the residents of Pridvina, the trip to the Russian Federation turned out to be a debut. But young Pskov residents participating in the project are already familiar with the Vitebsk region. So, last year they spent their leisure time in an interesting and useful way during the international camp session organized on the basis of the Vitebsk Cadet School.

At that time, a variety of trainings, presentations, quizzes, rulers, concerts, excursions, flash mobs, intellectual games and the defense of developed social projects took place for them.

The next trip of students of the Vitebsk district as part of the regional delegation to the Russian Federation within the framework of the project is scheduled for June.

"The Civil-Patriotic Camp "Mound of Friendship" is a project aimed at developing interstate cooperation and strengthening friendly ties between the youth of the two countries, patriotic education of students. Within its framework, exciting thematic events are held, including those dedicated to the history of the partisan movement during the Great Patriotic War. The main emphasis in them is on the popularization of the heroic past and the preservation of the memory of the exploits of ancestors.
