On May 19, 2023, after a serious long illness, our colleague, the former head of the Polotsk City Department of Internal Affairs, retired police colonel Genrikh Ivanovich Aniskovich, prematurely passed away.
A year is a short period of time to calm down and realize that our workmate is no longer around. The acuteness and sense of loss of a remarkable person does not leave us today.
The entire working life of Genrikh Ivanovich was associated with the protection of law and order, with the establishment of the rule of law. He passed a difficult and worthy professional path in the system of internal affairs bodies, starting it as a policeman - driver with the rank of police sergeant and successfully completing it as the head of the Polotsk City Department of Internal Affairs - one of the largest law enforcement units in the region. High legal erudition allowed Genrikh Ivanovich to successfully head the legal department of the Polotsk District Executive Committee for 13 years after his retirement. This is a clear example for modern youth in police uniform: honest and hard work always brings high professional results,
We consider it necessary to highlight such exceptionally positive qualities of Genrikh Ivanovich as devotion to the entrusted cause of combating crime, the ability to carefully determine the degree of severity in relations with subordinates with the simultaneous manifestation of intolerance to violators of official discipline and legality in professional activities, while remaining sincere and attentive to subordinates.
His love of life, intelligence, prudence, modesty, decency, composure and organization, responsiveness, human kindness, openness in communication, the ability to listen and hear others, readiness to support and lend a helping hand rightfully allow us to call him a Man with a capital letter.
These qualities earned Genrikh Ivanovich well-deserved respect both from colleagues and heads of executive and administrative authorities of Polotsk and the Polotsk region.
Genrikh Ivanovich lived the life of a caring and beloved husband in the family and a faithful friend, a father who raised two children, who continued his professional path, forming one of the first police family dynasty in Polotsk.
Let the years pass, but the memory of people like Genrikh Ivanovich Aniskovich is alive. We remember it not for the past, but for the future.
