Forest access restrictions in place in 91 districts across Belarus
Restrictions on visiting forests are currently in place in 91 districts of Belarus, according to the interactive map of the Forestry Ministry of Belarus, BelTA has learned.
In Brest Oblast, restrictions have been imposed in 13 out of 16 districts. The forests in the districts of Baranovichi, Gantsevichy and Lyakhovichi remain open to visitors.
In Vitebsk Oblast, restrictions are in effect in the following districts;Beshenkovichi, Vitebsk, Gorodok, Dubrovno, Lepel, Liozno, Orsha, Senno, Tolochin, Chashniki and Shumilino.In Gomel Oblast and Mogilev Oblast, restrictions apply across the entire territory. In Grodno Oblast, the forests in the districts of Berestovitsa, Volkovysk, Dyatlovo, Zelva, Ivye, Svisloch and Slonim remain open to visitors.
In Minsk Oblast, restrictions have been introduced in 18 out of 22 districts. They are in effect in the following districts: Berezino, Borisov, Volozhin, Dzerzhinsk, Kletsk, Kopyl, Krupki, Logoisk, Lyuban, Minsk, Myadel, Nesvizh, Pukhovichi, Slutsk, Smolevichi, Soligorsk, Starye Dorogi and Cherven.Before heading into the forest, it is essential to check the latest information on the official website of the Forestry Ministry. The interactive map of bans and restrictions on forest access is continuously updated, with timely revisions reflecting the current situation in forest areas across the country’s districts and the introduction of restrictive measures.
