The accident occurred on the evening of April 8 near house number 45 on Dalniy Lane.

The driver, driving a Volkswagen, collided with a Java motorcycle moving in the opposite direction while making a U-turn, after which he fled the scene.

The driver of the Volkswagen was detained a short time later by traffic police officers of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Orsha District Executive Committee with signs of alcohol intoxication. According to the results of a medical examination, 1.36 ppm of alcohol was found in the man’s exhaled air.

As a result of the accident, the motorcycle driver was hospitalized.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
